Urban Decay Naked Skin Illuminating Fluid

I think the Urban Decay Illuminating Fluids are more for make up lovers who like to illuminate occasionally rather than all the time. They’re little 6g tubes with doe’s foot wands just like a gloss filled with a liquid highlight in five shades. The liquid isn’t runny or too fluid to manage but it’s likely you’ll need to do some brush blending to get a seamless wash after you’ve dabbed it on your skin although I tried with a (clean) fingertip and it was fine to just hit the tops of my cheekbones. Far from being a mega-watt illuminator, it’s more of a gentle, liquid twinkler that feels like air on the skin – quite a versatile product if you wanted to have a wash across your lids or mix into a gloss to ramp it up.

It’s falling into the not quite ‘must have’ category for me – I like it for being a lower than usual key illuminator and for being versatile but the world won’t end if it’s not in your make up bag.

Urban Decay Highlighter

All the shades have an iridescent nature to them – from top to bottom: Sin, Fireball, Aura, Luminous and Skywalk. The most shimmery is Luminous and I didn’t like blue toned Skywalk because it seemed a bit flat and chalky to me, even after blending out.

They’re pricey for such a little amount at £19 HERE
