Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette

No wonder this fabulous pink toned palette from Urban Decay is breaking Instagram right now. You have to hand to the brand for being the best at creating these ombre’d palettes that are so gorgeous to look at as well as keeping quality high. Can you imagine how many mood boards and colour charts were created for this?

There are a million and one rose gold palettes (I have a fantastic budget one coming up in a post in a couple of weeks) and of course there will inevitably be only variations on the theme but Urban Decay are so masterful with colour they’ve actually created something very different. The first six shades in the bar are standard, easy wear neutrals with warm, pink/peach accents. The party starts in the second six, ranging from deep burgundy to frosted purple. There’s a mix across the palette of matte, metallic and sparkle.

In the second half, it’s: Ambitious, Bing, Devilish, Young Love, Drunk Dial and Privacy.

The actual palette casing is so delicious looking – that’s a picture I’d like on my wall (without the writing, obviously!). It’s £42, dropping on the 15th of October nationwide. Are you tempted?

Quite a few on forums saying it was very similar to the Charlotte Tilbury Stars In Your Eyes palette. Since I bought that one will give Urban Decay a miss, though the lipsticks look good

Such a shame that they discontinued the original. This looks nice, but they have increased their price. Not sure if I will pick it up or not.

  3. Gorgeous palette! I ADORE UD. Love the autumn/ winter tones in this palette. I’m gonna put this on my birthday and Christmas list!

My favourite brand for eyeshadow 🙂 This palette just seems to have come out at exactly the right time, with all the burgundy and pink tones we’re seeing in fashion and interiors. I’m loving this trend so much. I’m just so impressed that UD have managed to come out with this almost at the height of popularity for these tones just before we tip over like we have with rose gold and unicorns and I love rose gold! But I’ve had to restrain myself and I can see myself going there with the pinks and burgundies but for now I’m all about it and all over this collection. Sign me up for the palette and eyeliner!

  6. Oh this looks so good!

  7. yeah I really want this too… and I’m actually imagining it with that red liner on the other post I just commented on…. too much?!
