Beginning with Forest Desire, it’s a very soft, mossy kind of theme – I can see where she got the forest reference from. It’s good to see sagey greens and copper colours done so well but with a very smoky navy right at the end in case you want to go deep and midnight-ish.

Forest Desire is all the velvety softness you’d expect from this brand with textures that are a light sheen. The only thing is that the last two shades (dark green and dark blue) have a hit of sparkle (at first I thought it was an over-spray and actually had to carve right into the colour to check the shimmer goes all the way through – I know.. I hated doing it!).

The second palette, Gem Experience, has an jewel theme – with soft pink and lavender through to a deep grey at the end. I can see many possibilities with this and the last four shades contain little twinkles of sparkle.

As you can see, the lilac shade didn’t quite come out as evenly as I’d like but overall, the quality and pigment is pretty good. They’ve already had a quiet launch HERE and they’re £44 each.

yes, when I saw them in real life in a store totally different colour wise. Too many shades in both I could/would not wear.

  3. Both palettes are stunning. I would wear every single colors.

Breaks my heart when arty product shots crumble, smear and squish lovely lipsticks and shadows, so can understand how you felt having to do it yourself!
