[unpaid/samples] I focused on lips last week for the Suqqu Frozen Summer collection so now it’s time for eyes. I need to start by letting you know that these aren’t in stock just now – Suqqu collections sell out at the drop of a hat so that’s no surprise and samples were understandably delayed. But you never know.. maybe more is on the way.
If you like your shadows frosty, you’ll be pleased with this quad that features two shimmery top coats and two more dense, earthy colours. It’s called Frozen Blue x Summer Coral and I guess the idea is that you either make lids that are glimmering with a wash of the toppers or you add them over the more earthy shades. I’ve tried the blue over coral which seems like a mismatch but it’s really quite pretty although you lose a lot of the blue pigment when it’s in such a sheer quantity. It’s £46.
An eye crayon always makes me happy – these two are a really striking pair (there is a third, neutral shade which I don’t have here). The steely shade is Hoshimabata/Sparkle Grey and it’s full of glitter and shine while the other shade is Hanaginu/Shine Rose in a reddish pink with a metallic finish. Needless to say, it’s my favourite!
They’re not expected shades for summer really, and I have yet to have them on my eyes, but I do feel quite excited to see how Shine Rose looks. They’re £23 each.
Elizabeth Arden Hyaluronic Acid Ceramide Capsules
I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
Here they are in the swatch looking almost liquid. Hopefully, either Harrods or Selfridges will restock.
