Although I’m a fan of Stila’s Liquid Shadows – they’re mesmerically shimmery – I think the brand has surpassed itself with these duos. On one side is a metallic formula and the other side is a foil so you can ramp it up or down just as you please.
They’ve all got a impactful depth of colour and are smooth as silk in the application. I noticed a slight drop from the foil side but nothing too dramatic – you might want to do the tissue-on-the-cheek thing if you’re overlaying your metallic with a foil layer. The shades I have here are Smoky Quartz, Jade and Garnet.
