The Stila Matte N Metal Palette is from their spring Glitter Underground collection – turns out that it’s actually the least interesting thing from the whole collection, although if you’re in the 1% of the population that doesn’t own a nude/neutral palette, you could do a whole lot worse. In that respect, I like it, but it sticks to a pretty standard neutral palette formula.
As you’d expect, pigment is good but as with many neutral palettes, the first three are non colours really and you’ve probably already got a million variations on these background shades. These are the matte colours from the palette.
The metallic shades are a bit more exciting in terms of vibrancy – I tried a couple on my lids and found them nicely blendable with a beautiful reflective sheen. I can’t really complain about these at all other than I already have them covered in other palettes. So, ultimately, it’s a non-essential in my book, especially nudging £40, but also a useful palette if you’re in need of more neutrals. It’s £39 HERE.
