Sleek Matte Me

If you’re a matte lip lover, you need to stand to attention right now! These babies don’t move from your lip – they’re virtually indestructable. Mattes aren’t for me but in the interests of putting the Sleek Matte Me products through their paces, I’m wearing Bittersweet and have been all morning. It’s the very same as when I put it on, and part of the brand new line extension in what’s already a very popular range.

Although this seems like rather a dark collection for spring/summer, there are a couple of lighter nude based shades and I’m assuming the line extension is permanent. When you first apply, there is a tiny bit of ‘tack’ to the feel but as soon as they’ve dried off, it disappears. So far, my lips have not felt dry.

So, shades from bottom to top are: Fired Up, Velvet Slipper, Vino Tinto, Old Hollywood, Bittersweet and Shabby Chic.

I also got a ray of sunshine which shows the colours a bit better. At the top you can see they’re still a bit wet and glossy looking but by the time the swatch gets to the bottom, that’s the dry look, which you can build, or not. The new colours launch on 4th May for £4.99 each.
