Sleek MakeUP Matte Me New Shades

I don’t offer cover line extensions but these are too pretty to miss. Pastel mattes aren’t particularly easy shades to wear but they’re really for a full focus on the lips where you want to be noticed. You’ll have trouble blending into the background with these! They’re pretty and sassy at the same time.

These are very pigmented but need attention – the last is fine but one patch of fade on a pastel and the whole look is gone. In the picture is French Fancy, Apricot Blooms and Crushed Lavender.

I know everyone is over the word ‘obsessed’ but it does sum up my feeling for the Lip VIP Semi-Matte in Ready To Rock (forefront). It’s indicated as a dark cool mauve, but on my lips it’s much more of a grey washed brown – really vampy for such an innocent looking nude shade. I think my tone needs to warm up a bit for it to look really good, but I absolutely love it. Also in the picture is Steal The Limelight (paler pink) and Name In Lights. These are £5.49 which seems like a bargain – if Chanel had made that edgy vampy brown we’d be talking £££s! The Matte Me Lip Creams are £4.99.

  1. Oh wow! I love the look of these. I rarely wear anything that isn’t matte on my lips so I might have to give these a go 🙂

  2. I really like that lavender toned gloss. Right now I’m working up the courage to pull something like that off.
