So, these turn out to be very aptly named because they really are delightful! I can pretty much guarantee you won’t have felt a texture exactly like this one before .. it’s a gel/balm/oil hybrid that feels instantly softening and protecting on the lips.
It’s not a particularly complicated formula, containing padina pavonica, shea oil, jojoba oil, plum oil and vitamin E, but it’s just been formulated really, really well. The shades are very delicate so you get a nuance of brightening colour as well as smoothness in a low sheen finish. It’s kind of ‘perfecting’, I’d say, and very moisturizing without being slippy so you could easily use it as an undercoat before a applying a lipstick you know can be a bit drying.
I should point out that the colours are looking brighter on the pale of my arm skin than they actually look on the lip. I know that Sisley in general has a high price point – these are £37 each – but in this instance, worth every penny in pleasure-for-wear. You can find them HERE.
