Well this is a beauty! The Shiseido 7 Lights Powder Illuminator does the same sort of thing that Les Meteorites balls do – use diffusions of differently coloured powder to even out the skin tone.

It’s different in that you can pick out blush or highlighter or colour correct with the different tones – it’s got a flat brush with it to make that easier. In theory, colour correcting with powder is all very well, but I’m never quite sure how impactful it is – maybe you need a make-up artist’s eye for it – but in terms of blush and highlight, its very pretty and will suit most skin tones. You can even pick out shades and use them on your lids. There’s a video HERE from Shiseido that shows you the best way to use it.

Although this has sold out at Escentual.com (and everywhere else by the looks of things) you can reserve one for the next drop. It’s £40. I’ve had a go at swatching, but it doesn’t give the blended effect.

This is so beautiful! I really love the elegance of Shiseido’s packaging, and the colours in the pan look like an art deco work of art!
I bought this powder in Japan. It’s gorgeous! I use it as a blush, highlighter, bronzer and eyeshadow. Great for travel.
