Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip

Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip

I know I’m very light on posts this week – it’s what happens when life admin gets out of control and there’s nothing to do but stop and focus. Normal service next week! In the meantime, Mr BBB has been in the US so I had him pick me up one of the Sephora Favourites Give Me Some Lip kits which I’ve seen many, many times but not quite been persuaded into buying.

I love mini beauty products anyway, and a reader recently told me she collects miniature lipsticks which immediately made me want to start a specific collection like that (hence no swatches) and this is a good start! I think for $28 (about £20) this is really a very good buy not only for discovering new products but also for any summer travels you might have ahead. It contains 3.5 g Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick in Ruby, 2.1 g Bite Beauty Prismatic Multistick in Pink Pearl, 2.6 mL Grande Cosmetics HydraPlump Semi-Matte Liquid Lipstick in Smoked Sherry, 1.2 g Kat Von D Beauty Studded Kiss Crème in Lovecraft, 1 mL tarte Rainforest of the Sea H2O gloss Lip Gloss in Bora Bora and Urban Decay Hi-Fi Lip Gloss in SPL. The Anastasia lipstick is full size. The value is apparently $67.

It’s immaculate presentation – durable box, great graphics, tidy size – I really don’t know why someone (Debenhams, HoF, Selfridges) doesn’t do something similar. As far as I can see it is a shippable product, HERE, and Sephora offers a flat rate shipping fee to the UK of £6 for orders over £75 (anything less and you pay the actual shipping rate) but watch out for taxes on the site which are added at the end (I think.. it’s been a while since I’ve ordered). You might want to bundle together with a friend or two because there’s also a newer version of the lip kit just as lovely and even better value at $28 for $80 of product HERE.

Oh man! When I saw the box, I thought, how brilliant would it be if those were minis. And then they were!
Well, that’s a first for me, that *I* trigger a professional blogger into starting a collection not the other way round 😀 *waves to my new fellow mini lippy collector’*

For me the middle miniature stick ( Bite Beauty Prismatic Multistick) is the only one, that I would go for myself, as it instantly appeals to me in its miniaturisation (is that a word?).
I don’t collect liquid lipsticks, and the KvD just does not appeal to me. The packaging always turned me off.

But my, it’s great value. And a great overview for all tastes and what one doesn’T want themselves, it’s perfect as a friendly treat to someone else.

        😀 It’s a great start.

I’m VERY much looking forward to further additions to the collection.

Shiseido always do a miniature when they launch their new collections btw. *hint hint*
Ruby Copper is currently often available from them. A very creamy red, can be sheered out, but needs a pencil to prevent feathering.

I’ve had nothing but great experience with Sephora France.
Quick and reasonable delivery, great samples and free gifts.
    Will see if it’s there.
