Japanese brand, Sensai, is one of those really good brands that gets overlooked too often. Availability isn’t great admittedly, and the packaging doesn’t exactly sing, but the products are lovely. I raved about the Sensai Bronzing Gel a few weeks back which is a make up artist favourite (and gets called in by the bucket-load) and while I don’t feel quite such raves for the Sensai Silky Design Rouge lip pencils, they don’t deserve to be as hidden as they are.

The neutral shades, especially, are seamless nudes – ones that look like your own lip but better and I found them quite smoothing. They’re balmy in feel with a slight sheen to them, however, I didn’t find the last exceptional. I think you’d need to be prepared to re-do a couple of times. As a gloss fan, I’m used to this and don’t mind in the least, but if you’re a one-application person, then they’re not for you.

The shade line up from top to bottom is: Beniukon, Koubainoi, Ebicha, Nisemomoiro, Soubi and Hiiro. If you like Japanese cosmetics in general, I’m pretty confident you’ll like these too. They’re £28 each HERE.
