[unpaid/sample] With a formula based on Sensai’s Total Lip Treatment, the Total Lip Gloss now comes in colour. I have to say that Total Lip Treatment is one of the loveliest lip treatments I know – it’s expensive at £87 but just delicious for lips that are sore or dry. It’s best used last thing at night in my view so that you don’t waste it by washing it away with coffee.

So, we can say that it is more than a lip gloss – almost a tinted conditioner. I really do love this particular style of gloss – a hint of colour with lots of luminosity and light reflection.

The shades are delicious – Akebono Red, Shinonome Coral and Akatsuki Black. They remind me of fruit jellies.

If you are a regular lipstick wearer (sales have shot up by the way, bringing the ‘lipstick effect’ right back onto the table) it’s good to have a break and re-condition your lips with something hydrating and nourishing. I should say that these also contain Koishimaru Silk so aren’t vegan. The texture is rich but light feeling and like most glosses, needs topping up from time to time.

I absolutely powered through the original clear version and I expect the same will happen with these. I even like the look of the blackberry which is a colour that sings on warmer tones. They’re £37 each but I’ve found them at SkinCity for £29.60 HERE.
