Well, it’s been a while, but Rouge Bunny Rouge new product is seriously impressive. Tinted balms are one of my favourite make up categories – the easiest thing in the world to wear.

There are six shades – I know all the colours look strong in this picture but because of the balm element they don’t appear on the lip anywhere near the intensity they look in the bullet. That’s what makes them perfect for the colour shy like me – I am getting braver with a strong lip but it’s never truly my comfort zone and the ease of a swipe of diluted red gives me the thrill of a colour, but not the accompanying anxiety!

I have to say that I’m fairly in love with the RBR bunny that they sent me – it’s a little bit alien in concept so that it isn’t quite cute, but nor is it creepy. A curiosity for sure. I’ve scoured the site to see if they sell them (I’d like a red one as well please) but it doesn’t look like it. Anyway, back to the product. I pounced on the red shade 095 and have been wearing it most of the morning. There’s nothing not to like – feels like a good quality balm in terms of nourishment, the wash of colour is just right for me and it hasn’t needed endless topping up.

Rouge Bunny Rouge are one of the nicest beauty companies I’ve purchased products from, along with Beautylish.
