Rosie for Autograph Starstruck Lip & Cheek Colour

Is it terrible that I had low expectations for these multi-purpose sticks from Rosie For Autograph? Lip & Cheek products rarely work as they’re supposed to because it’s a difficult formula to get right. You need something that has enough oils that it won’t dry out your lips but not so much that it makes you look like you’ve glossed your cheeks.

Surprisingly, because M&S can be hit and miss on make-up, these achieve exactly the right balance and can easily be used as either/or. I’m amazed! They’re very sheer so when you apply to the lips you get a hint of colour with a tiny bit of sheen, and on cheeks, blended out, they give a no make-up, natural looking flush. Very, very nice!

On the down-side, there’s some terrible slack-fill going on. The product doesn’t go all the way down the stick – you literally only get as far as the black bit reaches – the rest is all empty but I guess you need some ‘handle’ to apply it. I’ll definitely use these – they’re exactly my kind of product and the colours are gorgeous. In the swatch above, I have Pale Blush (bottom) and Pink up top. They’re £15 HERE (there’s an offer for a free fragrance if you spend £25) and they’re paraben free and vegan.
