I’ve given this set a much simpler title than the reality which is Seductive Love Palette Garden Spirit. It’s inspired by the work of Midori Sato, a young, award winning Japanese artist known for her portrayal of flowers. The theme of the palette is a blooming garden.
It’s an easy representation with earthy brown, green, pink and white shadows and a petal inspired trio blush. The mascara is burgundy but actually not that generous with pigment and the lip jelly looks red in the tube but is more or less transparent on the lip.
The black holder that houses the make up sits a bit awkwardly in the fabric case but nonetheless, I love this – it’s very Japanese and looks and feels very special. If I’m going to be fussy, I’d rather have had the beauty items wrapped in tissue free floating inside the case, which is so pretty, and could be used over and over as a make up bag.
I think it’s certainly a win for RMK fans – this brand is in limited distribution in the UK and these limited editions disappear very quickly – even at £55. It’s available at Selfridges.com on 11th November.
