Revlon Super Lustrous Glass Shine Lipsticks

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] Gosh, these launched in the ‘missing years’ and although I’ve featured them before in 2021, they suddenly went crazy on TikTok earlier this year and getting hold of them was nigh on impossible because they sold out overnight. I’ve got a re-stock (and I’ve no idea what happened to my first 2021 samples because I liked them back then) to show you because I think they’re great value and behaving far more expensively than their actual cost.

In the line up from left to right are: Beaming Strawberry, Dewy Peach, Dazzle Me Pink and Toasting Glasses. I’m just going to show each one on me below. Texturally, they’re like butter on the lips – so smooth, so shiny and I think, incredibly flattering particularly if like me you have creased lips.

I love this shade, Toasting Glasses. It’s my favourite I think because it’s so different for me but still looks pretty good I think for a neutral. Getting hold of them is still a bit of a nightmare – this one is on Amazon – it’s £8.99 HERE.

This is Beaming Strawberry and I’m really happy with this creamy baby pink shade. It’s also £6.49 HERE.

Less keen on Dewy Peach – it doesn’t seem to have the same level of saturation as the others for some reason, but if peach is your passion, you’re out of luck unless you try stores (Boots, Superdrug or Sainsburys).

This is Dazzle Me Pink – I think my least favourite – it’s just got some blue notes that I don’t think suit my tone very well. However, there aren’t any of those available on line either. It’s very frustrating – I nearly didn’t post this but if you are in any of the stockist stores, at least you’ll know what to look out for if you like any of them. It’s not simple to ‘make more’ – I am sure Revlon are tearing their hair out trying to get more made but factory runs are booked months in advance – they just have to wait for their slot. Anyway, I thought it was worth a refresh now I have more colours. Happy weekend, all 🙂

Incidentally, the red liner is Boost from The Body Shop Freestyle Make Up HERE.

Wow-wow-wow! This red liner is a BOMB!!! So gorgeous and this lovely sheen… Sorry, lippies are great, but my heart is gone for the eyeliner.

I always loved buying Revlon and these look amazing. Don’t have TikTok so I haven’t seen them there, but heard of them from you and they do look very nice. Will definitely look for them in store – the Amazon link you discovered is already sold out. (I am also skeptical buying cosmetics on Amazon, use it as a last resort).

It’s a last resort for me too – but these things are so hard to find!

Popped into Boots yesterday after reading this. Not a single one left.

I know, they’re constantly out of stock, hence my difficulty finding a stockist! Keep looking – eventually they’ll be back 🙂

These look lovely, how would you say they compare to Charlotte Tilbury Happikiss ?

    1. Jane Cunningham

Different as these aren’t balms and CT Happikiss (one of my favourites) has more balm like ingredients. I find with Happikiss my lips actually benefit in terms of hydration and smoothing, but with Revlon, it’s more for the colour and sheen. It is softening to a point but just not the same degree.
