It’s absolutely ages since I reviewed any of the Real Techniques products – it’s a range created by Sam and Nic Chapman of Pixiwoos. As you’d expect, all the quality is there and it’s a very affordable range. Don’t expect NARS quality for the prices, but they’re excellent tools that anyone can use and I have never had anything but good performance from the brushes.
Real Techniques Collector’s Edition SetSo, this particular set is all about eyelining – with four slender brushes to do the job. I’m a big fan of smudging khol liner on my upper lid (yes, that IS because I can’t make a straight line!) and use that style almost daily, so I now have all the tools. Co-incidentally, it is so long since I lined under my eyes, but did it recently and loved that look all over again, so the very tiniest brush is great for getting precision in this difficult area.
The set is £19.99 (HERE) – I’ve linked to Escentuals because they currently have 20% off everything, so I’d head there if you’d like to buy. The brushes come in their own silver case – and there’s plenty of room for a few more brushes as well, although I did notice that it’s slightly too big for the brush length – I had to shake them out!
