June is exactly the right time for the launch of the palm print Paul & Joe Beaute Lip Collection. It’s a fierce orange range with green fronds and as you can see, a green tinted lip treatment balm.
So, you get two items: the tin of Lip Treatment Balm and the tube of Lip Gloss in a little silky pouch with the same pattern. The green tinted, gel like balm is kind of minty-fruity in scent and flavour. It’s not horrible – quite fresh but with a bit of strawberry behind it!
The gloss has a pH tint, so will go a light pink on your lips as well as giving a lovely, supple looking sheen. It’s looser in texture than the balm as you’d expect and contains lime extract and lavender oil, so it’s not your average gloss. The set’s launching at Feel Unique and at Beauty Bay in June for £18. It’s an easy win for an under £20 summer birthday present.
