[productsample] I’m splitting the forthcoming Paul & Joe Beaute autumn collection into lips then cheeks and eyes. This brand never misses a beat when it comes to presentation – and yes, there are CATS!

You might remember this lipstick case in white from last year – I loved that one and love this even more. There definitely needs to be a black one at some point. I’ll be honest and say that I have literally no further information than the products in front of me so I don’t know when this launches or for how much – the same applies for the rest of the products too – apologies.

Paul & Joe Beaute doesn’t move far from the cat/floral theme these days although they do manage to shake it up every time. It’s usually the case that the packaging and casings reflect the Paul & Joe fashion collection – I’m thinking how hard it would be to resist a floaty shirt in this print!

The casings, which you choose separately and then slot in your preferred lipstick, are definitely giving cattitude, especially the first one which says Innocent Until Proven Guilty – I think we all know that particular cat look!

As you can see, there’s a deep berry theme going on – from the grey toned blackberry shade (116) to the more winey colour of the third (118). In the middle, there’s a safety option (117).

From bottom to top: 118, 117 and 119 which you can see is a blackened stain – I love this kind of translucent grey wash that gives you a bit of vamp without the full on declaration. It’s so sophisticated in the right setting – black polo neck, well defined lashes and not much else. Very Carine Roitfeld. I’ll update if I get more info on this collection, such as prices, stockists and launch date, but for now, enjoy!

It might just be my mind, but the pink cat in the top picture looks a little bit phallic to me and now I’ve seen it I can’t see it any other way!
Apart from that, I’m loving seeing the start of the Autumn collections, roll on September!
