OPI Venice Collection

There are some truly sumptuous colours in the OPI Venice Collection – as a whole, it’s all about rich opulence and lavish shades; metallics, reds, umber tones and nudes. You can see, in theory, why Venice is the perfect inspiration for the new 15 shade line-up. Personally, I am still not over paying 15 Euros for a cup of coffee there…

One of the most intriguing shades is Baroque..But Still Shopping, below (metallic).

It’s a kind of metal shot sage colour flecked with gold – hated it in the bottle, loved it in the swatch.

Going left to right on the wheel: Amore At The Grand Canal, I Cannoli Wear OPI, It’s Piazza Cake, St Mark’s The Spot, Be There In A Prosecco, Baroque..But Still Shopping, My Gondola Or Yours, Gimme A Lido Kiss, Tiramisu For Two, O Suzi Mio, Worth A Pretty Penne and A Great Opera-tunity. There are a couple of shades I don’t have but if they turn up, I’ll get them swatched up.

There’s also a Little Bambinos Mini Nail Lacquer Venice collection coming up with four shades.. A Great Opera-tunity, Worth A Pretty Penne, Amore At The Grand Canal and My Gondola or Yours (£14.50). I like the small sizes, because when a collection this big comes out, it’s nice to get a few shades and they’re just too expensive full size at £12.50 each to really go mad! OPI Venice Collection launches in early August.
