If you like a matte complexion look, NYX No Filter Finishing Powder is a revelation. Silky, mattifying and smooth, at £11, it’s behaving like a much more expensive powder.
Personally, I very rarely use a powder…I don’t like the look or the dry feel, preferring a dewy, softer look, but for some it’s an essential part of a makeup routine. However, top ingredient in NYX No Filter Finishing Powder is Nylon-12 which is known to allow skin to look and feel more ‘flexible’ without dropping into creases, and also to act similarly to clay in terms of shine control.

The main thing I notice about the powder is that it comes in the same colours as people do! There are 15 shades from the palest of tones to the deepest. Even Bobbi Brown’s loose powder isn’t matching that at only 8 varying shades. I think NYX’s powder is £11 well spent. You can find it HERE.

Dear Jane,
I am just about to recommend your blog to a bunch of friends as your content is always superior and your output is awesome. Great posts on NYX and the eco lipstick. Trend agencies are predicting a lot of interests in that field so I am interested to see what the big companies will do about it ! The over use of nasties in cosmetics should become a thing of the past as we become aware that all this has an impact in human health in general.
Best wishes
