Maybelline Color Strike

[purchase] This is, hands down, the easiest eye shadow you’ll ever use – I would even say it’s marginally easier than eye crayons because there’s no skin drag at all. I bought this in my local Superdrug (I think.. might have been Boots) thinking it was an eye crayon, but in fact, it’s a cream to powder applied by a sponge tip.

Maybelline Color Strike

The shade I have is Hustle (50) – a golden tone with accents of bronze and to my eye, a slight khaki edge. It’s so light that you barely feel it going on the lid – and that sponge delivers so well that you’re likely to just need the one swipe if you want a line above your lashes and two to three for a full lid. If it takes you more than five seconds, I’d be surprised.

I finally got back to doing some IGTV yesterday after a long break and showed the application HERE if you want to see (but, really it’s so quick, there is hardly anything to see!). I’m not loving Instagram at the moment – it’s hard, as an older content creator, to find my place there. So, the only thing left to say on Color Strike is that it’s not really an all-day stayer – I needed to top up (once) but in my mind it’s almost like a gloss or lipstick that I’d expect to top up anyway and it’s no more bother or effort than that. It’s £7.99 HERE.

This colour is awesome! I hope they will sell them in Germany as well.
“it’s hard, as an older content creator, to find my place there. ” – I am 57 years old and am really looking forward to women my age posting on IG. There are far too many young women using filters, blurring the fotos, etc. Please continue to post on IG! We need more women our age on this platform. Thanks.
