Time for the second trio of swatches from the new and recently released Marc Jacobs Eye-Conic palettes – it’s no surprise that they swatched as beautifully as the first three, but I do need to flag that in one – Scandalust – none of the pans were secure in the palette. Usually, pans are glued into the palette and it just seems that these didn’t quite have enough glue – it might be because these are samples they’re not made quite the same or a quality control issue at the factory. Either way – highly unusual for this brand and it’s never happened before.
First up, shades in Glambition are: She Was, Infamous, Known For, Seeking, The Most, Over The Top, Glamour.
And in the same order in the swatch. It’s HERE.
This is Scandalust and shades are: Hot Pants, At The Office, Cause A Fuss, That’s Why, They Call Her, Little Miss, Scandalous. I love these names – really clever word play!
And once again in the same order as the palette. I find Scandalust very versatile – a lot of eye looks in one place here. It’s HERE.
This is Frivoluxe and shades are: Fabulous, Always, Dress, Outrageously, How You Want, Who Has Time, For Less. Well, quite.
If you have grey hair, I think this one is for you – while I was swatching I kept conjouring up an image of a woman with dark grey hair for some reason and thinking how amazing these shades are for splashing the right colours for that look. Frivoluxe is HERE.
All the palettes are £39 each – the more I play about with them, the more I like them – smooth on application, plenty of colour saturation and on me, they last decently well although there is an eye primer, Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Eye Primer in a neutral shade that blends to no shade at all. I’d link but it’s out of stock.
