I’ve been saying for a while that neutrals are going in a different direction now – and the Makeup Revolution New-trals Palette puts ‘new neutrals’ with ‘now neutrals’ in a two row, 16 shade palette. I can pretty much take or leave the second row, but the first row!
I’ve popped it next to the latest MAC Trend Forecast Palette so you can see how similar the shades are (MAC is creme though, and MUR is powder). So, key shades are burnished pink/oranges and a play on oxblood red for eyes. I’m not going to sit on the fence.. top row, my favourite shade selection yet from MUR; bottom row – yawn.

See, now I’ve said that bottom row is boring, looking at the picture, it’s actually more interesting than I remember (I swatched yesterday morning!).
Here are all the names – my favourite shades are Vogue, Trend, New-tral and Tone because they’re so spot on for what’s coming next with colour in trend terms.

I can’t get over the creaminess! Now I’m looking forward to next year, which is nuts. Satins and mattes? The bottom row looks like the second palette from the Mac trend forecast. MUR are if anything else quick on their feet 🙂
The top row has the perfect colours for Autumn! So pretty, I have to say I love all the shades in this palette though, even the bottom ones! 🙂
This is the first revolution palette I’ve seen that I really have to have! That top row would be amazing for Autumn, I love a really warm colour in the crease in particular and I’ve been looking for some shades like that! Em x

Yep, this is pushing all my buttons. Like you say, that top row. But I’m a sucker for these shades anyway. Its not unlike the Limecrime Venus Palette, I’ll have to buy this one and do a possible dupe post as I reckon it is!
Oh, that looks like a nice one! Yes to the whole top row, definitely. I’m in the US, but I love Makeup Revolution. Now that it’s easier to get here, I’m going pick this up when it’s available.
