Just in case we thought the Kardashians invented the nude look, here are some MAC classics brought back – some of them from the early 1990s! I wonder if at the time, people thought, yes, those will come back in a couple of decades and be just as relevant. I think perhaps not. There are seven lipstick (Bronx, Marrakesh, Rocker, Skew, Spanish Fly, Icon and Shrimpton – recognise any?) of which I have three all nude shades.
But also, doesn’t the second eye shade, Tete-A-Tint, belong in a sunset shade palette? It’s exactly that sandy, brickish colour that’s in all of the Naked Heat style palettes right now. It’s actually very similar to Sauced from Naked Heat. There are four eye shades back for a while; Goldbit, Kid, Tete-A-Tint and Uninterrupted. The other shade I have is Goldbit, a gorgeous shimmery, soft beige that’s ideal as a background shade. The lipsticks are £17.50 and the shadows are £14.
Bottom to top: Bronx (retro matte), Icon (frost), Spanish Fly (frost), Goldbit (lustre) and Tete-A-Tint (matte). They’re HERE.
