[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] It’s a good time to mention MAC’s spring launches because there’s a very good Easter offer on if you’re in the market for new make up or skin care. First up is the MAC Stack Mascara which is now in a waterproof version – I really like this mascara and have been using the regular version for ages. It really does add length to the lashes, so a waterproof version seems a great idea – especially with our recent rain that I’ve been caught out in more times than I care to mention.
In the background there you can see the new Locked Kiss Ink. I truly do not like this at all. I’m not a matte person but I could feel my lips shrivelling as soon as I put it on and it is so densely saturated that even the tiniest mistake shows.
It’s not particularly easy to fix as the formula is super stainy so you have to correct at the speed of light before the colour ‘sets’. The shades I tried were so dreadful on me that I’ve only showed one picture – just couldn’t put them up!
Above from left to right are: Vixen, Mischief and Carnivore.
Once dry, this didn’t move an inch on my lips – even after a cup of tea – so if it’s your thing, I think you’ll find it very impressive. In the picture, bottom to top are Carnivore, Mischief and Vixen. They’re currently on offer for £22.50 (instead of £28) each HERE. If you need a stayer, this is it.
The new Every-Where Pens are really impressive. They’re perfect for concealing, anywhere on the face really, in a lightweight, hyaluronic infused formula that blends very nicely. The packaging utilizes a nozzle to release a dose of concealer and you make it happen by pressing the bottom button. You have to turn it on first, but don’t forget to turn it off again!
I’m not sure I see an advantage exactly with this method of dispersing but it’s innovative at least.
This is how much a click dispenses.
The shades I have are NW20, NC13 and NW13. These are also on offer for £22.40 instead of £28 HERE. So, the offer, as well as 20% off sitewide, is between 29th March (today) and 11th April, with a spend of £60+ you receive a gift worth £45 that includes a Mini MACstack mascara, a Lustre Lipglass in Thanks, It’s MAC, a deluxe sample size of Fix & Stay Over, a sample of Hyper Real Serumizer and an egg shaped tin – I am guessing everything will fit in the tin so you can gift it at Easter (or ignore the tin entirely and gift yourself!).
If you spend an extra £20 there’s a Glow Play Palette in Get Lit coming at you as well. If you’re looking to boost your basket then I would thoroughly recommend the MAC Strobe Dewy Skin Tint – I’ve used my sample a lot to add into foundation for a bit more lustre to my skin and I absolutely love it. A warning though – you don’t need much for the glow to show :-). It’s on offer for £24 instead of £30 HERE.
