It’s 19th May for the limited edition release of 21 MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Colour Sticks. If you don’t know these sticks, they’re the boldest no budge colours around. Despite their waterproof claim, they’re actually nicely blendable if you’re quick-ish about it – it’s often the case with waterproof, waxy products that they set too fast.

I’m not sure personally I’d go for any of the bold shades, but I’ve used one of the paler shades on my lids. In feel, they’re so soft and finger blending was no issue at all, but my shade choice (Sweet Praline) looked a bit chalky for some reason and definitely exacerbated lines on my eyelids. One thing is for sure though, they’re not going anywhere til you’re ready to take them off. The MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Colour Sticks are a bit too chunky for precision lining, so realistically, they’re only good as a stick eye colour.

Shades from bottom to top: Cinder Black, Frisky Blue, Sand Bar and Sweet Praline. I think these would be great for holidays where being hot is an issue or if you like to surf with a smoky eye! If you can lock down a shade that you absolutely love I can see the MAC Pro Longwear Waterproof Colour Sticks being a handy holiday buy. They’re £16 each and I like the sound of Sweet Viola (a soft metallic violet) and Lilacked (a light purple with gold reflect).
