L’Oreal Paris La Palette Glam Lips is – obviously – the lip version of the tropical coloured L’Oreal Paris La Palette Glam that I reviewed on Friday. It’s all mattes in this one, but they’re silky feeling on the lips. Despite the fact that the colours look intense in the palette, they’re really very versatile – one sweep with the brush and it’s a low pigment look, but another one or two swipes and it’s allll going on!

The shade range is gorgeously summery but you definitely need to use the brush (or a brush) to apply because the thing I really noticed is that the colour doesn’t go on that evenly if you’re just doing a finger swipe. You can see in the very top shade that the pigment didn’t even come out of the pan evenly so it does require a little effort. But, the advantages outweigh the negatives I think, especially because this is so portable, won’t affect your liquid allowance and gives you six pretty perfect summer lip options. It’s on offer for £9.99 HERE.

I wouldn’t normally look twice at a palette like this but your swatches have tempted me, very pretty! x

I love the shades in these palettes but I just can’t get passed the lip brush thing when you’re on the go… I just envision myself holding tissues to wipe off excess or to switch colours. But like I said-love the colours!
I was a little disappointed with the pigment in this. However, it’s only 9.99, so I suppose I shouldn’t expect the earth! Haven’t worked out how to get around the reapplication issue. I find the short little brush quite hard to use. They are not long lasting, although they are very comfortable!
