L’Oreal Paris Glow Cherie

[sample/affiliate] I’ve had a catch up with L’Oreal Paris so I have a few new products to roll out, starting with L’Oreal Glow Cherie Natural Glow Enhancer.

L’Oreal Glow Cherie

This is a good, multi-functional product to have in your beauty stash for its ability to bring light to the skin. You can use it as a primer before your foundation, you can mix it with your foundation, you can mix it with your day cream or you can wear it on no-make up days to give extra luminosity to your skin. You can even just use it on the facial high points to add a subtle glow.

It comes out of the tube as a metallic looking cream – I was surprised at how well it gave my bare complexion a boost in terms of light catching and didn’t feel or look at all ‘tin man’ when I was out shopping although I feel it might be a bit more of a summer product than a winter one. I could see myself quite easily adding this to SPF or tinted moisturiser to wake up my complexion. I actually tested a mix of the light and deeper shade and used it as an all-over glow on my face. The ‘colour’ isn’t as heavy as in say, a foundation, and it’s perhaps even a bit less than you’d expect from a tint which is why I think it works well as a beauty mixer.

You can see the lustre or pearl finish – I’m happy to have this for dull days when my skin needs a bit of a hello :-). The two shades are Light Glow and Medium Glow and you can find it HERE, non affiliate HERE. Oh, it’s £9.99 and – for me – a very handy tube of multi-tasking pretty.

  1. I’ve been using this since the autumn and really like it. I think it’s the closest that the UK get to the Glotion in the States. I do wish that it didn’t have the very slight shimmer but it doesn’t show much under/in foundation.

That’s really useful to know – with low day light it’s hard to tell how much shimmer there truly is so thank you for adding that.
