L’Oreal Paris Get Your Glow On Collection

Apart from the fact that the L’Oreal Paris Get Your Glow On Collection is all about reflective, summery, glowy looks that have been tuned down a notch or two to get us out of the unicorn rut, the next thing to love is the affordability. When this type of high reflect droplet product first launched you were looking at the £30 mark – Glow Mon Amour is a very palatable £9.99 (and on a 3 for 2, so gather your glowy friends). If you can’t wait to read down, there are two shades HERE.

The next temptation from this collection is the Life’s A Peach Blush, £8.99 HERE, that’s a non-sparkly, peach scented and peach butter infused warm shade. The little brush sits in it’s own compartment in this compact and the peachy smell really is peachy (a bit more like peach sweet, but definitely peach). When you see the matte bronzer coming up, you’ll get why this collection isn’t about an all over glow, it’s about a less make up look with light hits where you want them rather than piled up anywhere and everywhere.

I’ve got light and shade today so decided to run with it rather than edit out – then you can see what products look like in different lights. The bronzer, Back To Bronze, is matte and quite gentle in tone for a hint of summer rather than a beach bake. It’s also £8.99.

There are five Bonjour Nudista Awakening Skin Tints, £9.99, to give a hint of colour that’s far removed from a full on base look. It’s available in light, medium light, medium, medium dark and dark (I think I have medium dark here). Personally, I don’t find them quite hydrating enough but that’s easily rectified if you wear an SPF or moisturiser underneath – that also makes them easier to blend.

The final thing I have to show is the La Vie En Glow palette, £12.99. This is cool toned but there is another with four warmer shades. If you’re already sold on the drops, you don’t need this as well – it’s a bit unicorny to be honest and if you’re trying to veer away from that then it’s not for you. If you’re still on track with ultra glowy highlights, then it IS for you! Swatches coming up:
