Wow.. okay then, L’Oreal Paris! If you’re ready to shimmer, the new L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Gold Obsession Lipsticks contain 24-carat gold particles to ensure that you do. What’s surprising about these lipsticks is that they’re actually quite sheer and melty on the lips and infused with omega-3 oils and vitamin E so there is an almost balmy feel to them.
That’s a perfect scenario for someone like me who doesn’t want a highly pigmented lip shade but enough to enliven the face and lips – I could wear any of these shades quite happily. The Pure Gold shade is a shimmery topper for bare lips or over any other colours so really, that’s the best buy because you may have similar shades to the other four already and you can just run Pure Gold over them.

In testing, I found that these weren’t very long in the last due to their balmy nature – they’ve a habit of the colour wearing away and just leaving the sparkles behind – and one without the other doesn’t look quite right to me! But, I’d happily reapply to be honest because they’re generous on sparkle without it looking like you fainted in the glitter tray. They’re £6.99 HERE.
