Lisa Eldridge Fantasy Florals Lip Kit

[unpaid/sample] Everything Lisa makes sells out! The beautiful Gloss Embrace glosses are all gone except as part of the Lip Kit sets which I’ll focus on today with just a quick peek at the glosses because they will be back in stock in spring of next year.

Lisa Eldridge Gloss Embrace Lip Gloss

The one I have here – Velvet Beauty – is a soft (not pale) rose pink and comprises a Velvet Lipstick, one of the new Gloss Embrace glosses and a lip crayon all (obviously) in the Beauty shade. The bag is a sumptuous thing in black velvet with red and purple poppies – better than your average ‘free’ bag.

As you can see, it has the golden Lisa logo on it. The glosses are super light on the lip – non-sticky, a good amount of colour without being overwhelming and don’t have any hint of mint or vanilla – whew! The Velvet lipstick is ultra matte and also ultra pigmented. When the glosses come back in spring, I will be ON IT but I have posted as soon as I received and I think they’ve just been more popular than expected.

In spring, we’ll be back! In the meantime, there are five Lip Kits to choose from – I’d recommend Velvet Myth and Velvet Ribbon – the former is vivid mulberry shade (wonderful for vampy, winter queen looks) and the stunning blue toned red of Velvet Ribbon. They’re £63 each HERE – honestly, don’t wait. You can also create a 3 piece lip kit of your own in the Velvet Lipstick range that comes in a blue velvet bag.

Swatches

Argh, slightly blurry – so sorry – but I want to get this out while they’re still in stock and you get the general idea that this is a fulsome rose shade – very tone enlivening and an easy wear.

Lisa’s lipsticks are really gorgeous. From the last issue I got the Velvet Matt in Velvet Ribbon for myself. Its such a vibrant red. Then in the Spring we were locked down on my nieces birthday (she’s 22) so I sent her the same lipstick with the Wine Red Velvet Bag for a special cheer up until we could get together. She really loves it. They make the most lovely lux gift.

I watched Lisa’s YT video about her purchase of Audrey Hepburn’s Cartier lipstick holder. She has gone up yet again in my estimation (she’s already way up there so to speak). Love her enthusiasm for all things makeup, her lipsticks and am sooo looking forward receiving to my delivery soon. I haven’t been able to bring myself to start using my Velvet Beauty lipstick yet.. just been admiring it!! x

I pre-ordered these as soon as they were out – can’t wait to receive next week.
It was a tough choice because no matter how many website photos there are I can’t judge the colours well online. Watching Lisa’s video helped a little. I went the build your own bag route at the time everything was in stock so it was easier that way.
    Hope you will enjoy yours!

Lisa is fabulous. I love her make up , always so polished & share her interest in vintage cosmetics.
I have one of her Lipsticks- velvet ribbon. Its one of those that make you feel special using it x

Thanks for this post! It’s nice to see the swatches and hear your thoughts.
I love the formula of Lisa’s lipsticks (picked up the new velvet collection last time and get good wear out of the lighter shades). Couldn’t resist picking up velvet affair this time round and a couple of the easier to wear colours of gloss..fingers crossed they suit and I get similarly good wear from them!

I love the glosses – just such a nice, light consistency.
