Lipstick has been top of the beauty tree for what feels like nearly ever, so it’s great to see some new glosses coming through for those of us who like a shine hit lip.
What a treat the collection of Lipstick Queen Reign & Shine Glosses is as well! This is exactly the gloss texture that I love – slidey but with enough tack to stay on your lips for a decent amount of time. The formula contains sodium hyaluronate (a version of hyaluronic acid) and I think you can tell that in the skin feel.
They’re a medium pigment level, meaning that they’re not terrifyingly loud on the lip, but there’s decent coverage, plus they’re nicely light bouncy.
In the swatch from bottom to top: Mistress of Mauve, Empress of Apricot (which I wore all of yesterday and LOVE it!), Baroness of Bare, Countess of Cocoa, Rule of Rose and Monarch of Merlot. Gosh, they’ve had fun with the names! They’re £18 each HERE – big recommend from me if you’re a gloss fan.
