This is a very pretty line up of pinks that came out in time for Valentine’s Day (hence the name I imagine) but are everything spring. Pink lipsticks have been neglected of late and yet it’s one of the most universally flattering shades. This collection has a modern take with a couple of shades, a decently blue toned pink and an everyone pink. They’re billed as medium coverage but I’d argue that and say they’re full coverage and they’re not matte, but more of a soft sheen. Pretty much how lipsticks used to be.

In swatching, each one of these gave the most perfect swipe with the right amount of colour and no buckling or ‘bits’ – lovely quality from the get-go. So, from bottom to top it’s Bad Boy, Mr Right, Mr Right Now and Good Catch. I was just thinking my mum would love a couple of these but I’m not sure, at 80, she’d be on board with Bad Boy as a name. I can just see her friends asking her what her lipstick is and her *forgetting* rather than say that out loud! “Could I have a Bad Boy please?” I just don’t see that happening in SpaceNK! Anyway, they’re all HERE for £22 each.

I had no idea Poppy King had parted ways from Lipstick Queen. Do you know the story Jane?
I don’t know any more than that she’s gone x
Oh I fully intend to be asking for a Bad Boy when I’m 80! I fully intend to grow old disgracefully and have a lot of fun in my twilight years.
