This is another of Laura Mercier’s limited edition collections for the Christmas season. The Laura Mercier Double Impact Eye Colour Collection has twelve shades – one row of browns and one row of greys both with a mix of matte and sheen.
I naturally gravitate to the grey section and I love that she has put a deep, deep navy at the end. Shades on the top row from left to right are: Dune, Wind, Rock, Dust, Earth, Bone. Shades on the second row left to right are: Spirit, Love Potion, Venomous, Poison, Hypnotic and Voodoo – sorry, but row 2 even sounds better! The shades in this aren’t dissimilar to the Essential Eye & Cheek Art palette so if you have that, you don’t need this. Laura Mercier doesn’t go far out of her comfort zone on eye shades but there are some useful looks to be created here both for day and for night.
As you can see, the pigment is fine – smooth on the application and easy for basic or smoky eyes. It’s £45 HERE.
