[productsample/affiliate] There’s an art to formulating lip luminizers – you can chuck a load of glitter in anything and call it a luminizer but in my book, creating luminosity isn’t all about the sparkles. There are a few shimmers in Lanolips Hydrating Lip Luminizer in sparse enough supply that they don’t make you all glittery, but do catch and bounce light so that your lips look kind of glowy.

There are two shades – Desert Glow and Beach Pop with the latter very firmly my favourite. It’s the right shade of pinky peach that complements my tone well and I knew by the look of the tube that I’d love it. I’m a bit meh about the second shade because it’s not right for me, but that aside, it’s a decent enough brick-toned neutral. I like a pinky-beige as a neutral so I’m hoping one of those might appear at some point.

As you can see, the shimmer is tiny – it doesn’t overtake the product at all. I can see these looking gorgeous and light-catchy on a summer day. I am sure I don’t need to tell you that Lanolips is on my list of top products I can’t live without for being so beautifully hydrating and kind to lips. My lips are, nine days out of ten, dry, and Lano is something I use regularly and often. You can find the luminizers HERE non aff HERE. They’re £13 each.

Love Lanolips, the Lemonaid Treatment is by far my favourite and that has a certain luminosity to it as well – don’t think my husband has noticed as he frequently steals mine 🙂
It’s true there is some er, sparkle, to it! I told them to create Manolips… but did they listen? No!
Aww the beach pop shade looks gorgeous! 😀
