Wow! Okay, so these are the most glimmery lip finishes I think I’ve ever come across. The Kat Von D Everlasting Glimmer Veils can be worn on their own or over other colours. Personally, I think there is enough pigment that they can be easily worn alone, and they have good last which is down to the intense stain that they leave on the lips.
Impressive as they are, even clever beauty alchemy can’t do anything about the fact that the shimmer, which is bountiful, will break down if you eat or drink. I suggest that you eat first and take a straw wherever you’re going if there’s any liquid involved.
The swatches tell the true story of the dynamic colour – for swatching, the formula lays down slightly unevenly but once on the lip, this doesn’t happen at all because you’re moving the doe’s foot applicator around so that everything smooths out nicely. It’s a fairly weightless formula – you’d expect, with this level of shimmer, to feel a bit of ‘grit’ but I can’t say that was an issue. From bottom to top in the swatches are: Thunderstruck, Wizard, Shockful, Reverb and Televator. The shades are all ‘shifting’ so have different elements to the colours, but it’s most obvious in Wizard. They’re £22 HERE.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
