So, these made my eyes light up (not literally!) – I love a burgundy mascara so discovering that Isadora are bringing out a very decent one far outweighs the novelty of an expanding brush! But, as you can see I have showed the brush above at its smallest and at its largest and that’s achieved by twisting the red tip at the end of the brush handle.
I can’t say I found a very big difference in the coating levels between longer/thinner and shorter/fatter because on both I got a good separating coverage, but I think fractionally more on the shorter length. I had to re-coat more with the burgundy shade than the black and I think this is because burgundy isn’t black! So I went for more coats to deepen the shade, which actually deepens anyway as it dries on the lash. I’m delighted to have this – nothing can beat Clinique Black Honey but this is comfortingly close. It should hit Feel Unique on 17th August.
