Isadora’s autumn collection launches this month, so if you’re on your European travels it’s very well worth looking out for. Isadora Rock & Romance is a kind of dark brow, berry lip look.. a little bit biker, a little bit urban khaki and a lot glam. With a really strong look like theirs, heavy pigment isn’t really your friend – you need to have the option of layering to an intensity that suits you personally.
So while less pigment is usually not a good thing, in this instance, I’d say it is. And when I’m talking about less pigment, all I mean is that lipsticks are two swipers rather than the one!
The lipsticks fall into nude or berry really – swatched above are Bohemian Rose, Nude Pink, Dark Romance and Cool Cashmere. They’re a sheen finish apart from Nude Pink which is matte.
Two quads, Moon Rock (grey) and Urban Green are smoky eye perfect.

Moon Rock never quite makes into black, instead, staying with a deep dove and a charcoal grey.

Of the two, much as a love a very dark grey lid, I’m edging towards Urban Green – especially teamed with Dark Romance lipstick.
I’ll swatch nails in a separate post (this week is so busy, expect a few less posts) but if you do want to try this brand, I always recommend you start there… they’re great value for money and rock hard on the finish.
