Isadora Holiday Divine Collection

This is a truly glamorous collection – to my eye it’s a modern interpretation of 80’s glitz with sumptuous shades made for after dark. Starting with the nail collection – Isadora as a brand makes great, long last, high pigment polishes – it’s actually rather wonderful. The holo nail coat can be used over either of the other shades to create some twinkle but it’s Velvet de Luxe in rich, deep purple and the shade shifty Vintage Wine that have caught my eye.

Vintage Wine has a metallic effect finish, while Velvet de Luxe has a high shine finish.

The Golden Edition Eye Palette is a collection of softer shades with a beautiful sheen on each – these are easy wear colours with a good pay off and the inclusion of the deep burgundy-brown at the end means you can do some smoked looks as well. It is shimmery/sheeny though so probably not really a day time or low key look palette.

The colour line up reminds me of the Bobbi Shimmer Bricks!

If you like the metallic lip look (not the same as glittery) these Liquid Lip Chromes are incredible! I’d be ditching my Huda in a nano second in favour of these. Although I’ve spent the morning with an inappropriately glam lip look for greeting the builders, but at least I know the last is very decent. The saturation is huge and the metallic effect is excellent. They don’t taste horrid either.

See what I mean?!

Overall, I’m wowed by the nails and lips from the Isadora Holiday Divine Collection. It’s a bit higgledy-piggledy on the Feel Unique site but it is there – I’m linking to the palette HERE (£19.95).
