Isadora Chrome

Although I am a very firm believer that you can wear whatever make up you want, whenever you feel like it, I’m not oblivious to the fact that at times you may feel that you’ve outgrown certain things. I don’t see many older women doing chrome or metallic lips (I very rarely do) because they’re probably just a bit too out-there to feel in your comfort zone. So, as soon as I tried these Isadora Lip Chromes I clocked that these slot into a rare margin of being age-irrelevant but with a slant to anyone who feels they can’t go the full Huda any more. They’re just very gentle and give a wash of light-infused colour across the lips that’s so flattering at any age. More diffused that metallic lipsticks, they’re a gel-oil consistency so glide over the lips at any intensity you like.

The shade that suited me the best is that wine colour, Space Jewel, in the middle that I wore at a low level, and the next best for me was the light pink shade, Pink Planet. I got rather washed out by the beigeness of Moonwalker. They’re £13.95 each, HERE.
