You definitely need to be in the mood to experiment with Illamasqua’s newest Antimatter lipsticks that are targeting Valentine’s Day. The pink/red shade is Rubine Red (and it does fall pink) while the luminous white shade is called Eclipse. Antimatter is Illamasqua’s kind of fall-between lipstick, being neither totally matte nor totally sheer. Both deliver a ton of pigment! While Rubine Red is easily wearable if you like a strong pink/red lip, you might wonder quite how Eclipse fits it. Well, it’s not until you swatch them side by side and then together that the possibilities appear.
See what I mean? This fits right in with Illamasqua’s ethos of play and experimentation and doing things differently – you can see, just with a pink over white swatch, a striking ombre lip emerging. As the ombre lip trend continues to emerge (just been looking at some Catrice beauties right now) this kind of combination shows you that it doesn’t need to be discreet and shy – you can really take it as bold as you like. Both shades will be available in the next few days for £20 each. In the meantime, while stalking for availability, I spotted the Illamasqua sale which is really very good – lipsticks at £5.85 (from £19) and so on HERE.

I’d be prepared to put money down to bet that you won’t have experienced a skin care texture like this before...
