I Heart Lip Balms

When it comes to flavoured or scented balms, I’m very particular – if it was up to me I’d ban vanilla forever from all lip products, because if you don’t particularly like it, you’re really stuck. But, I definitely like the Raspberry version from the I Heart Beauty Lip Balms – it reminds of the fizzy drinks I wasn’t allowed very often as a child!

They’re nicely emollient but don’t contain any SPF as far as I can tell and they do last well – the formula didn’t disappear off my lips in two seconds like a lot of balms do. The scents are Wild Strawberry, Raspberry Fizz, Blueberry Crush, Cool Vanilla and Mint Sorbet in pop bright packaging. As £2.99 each, I think they’re a bargain. This is also a good time to introduce the new website that covers Makeup Revolution, Freedom and I Heart Beauty as the main brands with several others under the same umbrella. The umbrella site that keeps it all in one place so you don’t need to go to multiple sites to order from different brands is called TAMBeauty (HERE). I can see they have stock of my Fortune Favours The Brave Palette HERE which is something of a miracle because we have difficulty keeping up with demand on it (I know.. who knew? It’s as bigger surprise to me as anyone!).

Makeup Revolution, Freedom and I Heart are all young brands – only 2 years old – so this streamlining is part of their evolution and a chance to introduce new brands from TAM that you might not already know.
