[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This palette is only at Cult Beauty, made to celebrate 5 years of Huda Beauty being available at Cult. It certainly seems celebratory – and I love the mix of peachy-pink, neutral and gold.

Huda Beauty Gold Palette

It reminds me of a little box of chocolates.

Every single one of the colours swatched really well – there isn’t a disappointing one in the entire tray. I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and really wasn’t feeling it for any more palettes but now I’ve opened it and played around with it, I like it a lot in terms of being as gentle or as strong as you like which makes it more versatile.

There are three textures – matte, metallics and shimmers (which are designed to add extra sparkle to existing colours but are just as lovely on a bare lid although they are a bit droppy so take care). I can also, despite all the shimmers and glimmers, being a beautiful thing to wear in summer, too. It’s a nice move away from rose-gold, taking it to shell-like shades with a smack of gold.

The first and third shades are candidates for a bare lid, a lick of mascara and clear gloss to create an elevated ‘natural’ look. It’s £27 HERE which doesn’t seem unreasonable given the possibilities – if anything is going to weaken your ‘no palette’ resolve, this is it! Non affiliate HERE.
