Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit Unlocked

It wasn’t until I swatched the newest version of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Edit – Unlocked – that I could really see its merits. When you get down to it, these Ambient Lighting palettes are all much of a muchness. I was excited about the first one but retrospectively thereafter have felt somewhat luke-warm.

It reminds me of a dry version of the Laura Mercier Bonne Mine palette which I still use so much and absolutely love. My personal preference is for creme versions but if you prefer a powder, in this you find all you need with two shades of finishing powder (Soft Light or Filtered Light), a bronzer (Golden Bronze Light), two blushes (Nude Glow and Mood Flush) and highlight (Champagne Strobe). It’s a handy thing if you like everything in one place.

From bottom to top it’s: Soft Light, Filtered Light, Golden Bronze, Champagne Strobe, Mood Flush and Nude Glow. The price of £69 is made slightly less terrifying by knowing that Hourglass donates 5% of profit from the sale of the palette to the Nonhuman Rights Project that secures fundamental rights for animals. It’s fully vegan as well. You can find it HERE at Liberty.
