There’s another drop heading our way from Guerlain in June (a preview in May at HoF). It’s another tidy edit of products that really fit with the season.
For me, the most notable are the two beautiful lipsticks – one coral/orange (Orange Peps) and one electric, warm fuchsia pink (Pink Sunrise). There’s a shake up in the Terracotta bronzing palette this time though, with a waterproof version. Basically, just add pool. I need to add in that I haven’t put this to the test – I might bronze up for a shower though and see what happens!
The Terracotta Dry Oil (this one is a looks-like-glass plastic bottle) is the scent of summer holidays bottled. You can use it on the face, body and hair (although it’s highly perfumed so I personally would avoid the face) and it contains ‘tan enhancers’ so it will keep your tan going for a little longer, as will the Sun Protect SPF30 above. I know we’re in a world where sun tans are frowned upon and I like that Guerlain acknowledges that some people still want those rays on their skin – bear in mind it’s a global brand and not all attitudes to the sun are the same. Personally, I like to get some sun but the days of baking to a brown crisp are long gone. I don’t have prices yet for these.
The geranium in the picture by the way is from my garden: I have a climbing geranium that has flowered all winter long – it never stops. It’s literally my only gardening success!
