[unpaid/sample/ad/affiliate] I’m feeling very positive about Guerlain right now, not just for their gorgeous products but also that their factory in La Ruche (alongside Dior and Givenchy) began the change-over yesterday from fragrance production to hand sanitizer production for free delivery to French health authorities. Likewise, Davines, the hair brand, has made a run of 110K hand sanitizers to give to charities and communities in Italy, their home country. I’m sure lots of brands are swapping beauty runs for sanitizer runs if they have the facilities and licenses to do so, so I’ll update as and when I hear.
The forthcoming collection is split into two different styles of cases – Stunning Gems (‘jewel’ covered, and Stunning Queen, of which this is one, called Diamond Appeal – other options include Topaz Aura (yellow), Amethyst Emotion (deep pink), and Quartz Illusion (soft pink). There are seven new shades in Rouge G Sheer and seven new shades in Rouge G Matte. Shown is 07 Sheer Shine which is a lovely pinkish coral glistening colour wash.
This is an absolute easy-wear shade that I think most tones can take well. Price wise, lipstick refills are £20 each, Queen Cases are £30 each and Gem Cases are £26. I noticed that Escentual has a few cases (not current season) for £16.20 HERE, non affiliate HERE, which I think are extremely good value if you want the heft of a case but aren’t bothered by diamante.
