Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder Floral Impression

Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder Floral Impression

My heart has skipped a beat looking at this beautiful summer product from Givenchy launching in April. The Givenchy Healthy Glow Powder Floral Impression is immaculate in execution and better yet, is a talc free formula. I love getting extra bits of information about formulas – this is apparently built from a talc-free gel that is then evaporated by baking. I keep looking at it to see if there is a single flaw (bearing in mind that it came by post so it’s had the Royal Mail to contend with) and it’s perfect. So, I think that attests to a degree of durability.

Givenchy has something of a gem in it’s creative director, Nicolas Degennes. He is always mixing it up – one minute we’re getting leather and skulls, the next he’s delivering flowers in the form of gypsophila. The Floral Impression Palette is part of the Summer Look for Givenchy – actually quite a tight edit this year with only one Le Rouge, one Le Rouge a Porter and two mascaras. I like this new approach of one major statement piece and a handful of accessorising products. Just when we’ve all had enough, Givenchy gives us something digestible.

When I see the rest of the range, I’ll swatch them all together.. I need to work up to swatching the Floral Impression! Oh, the price will be £44.

Is it a bronzer or more of a highlighter? Thank you.

Bit of both Joanne… it’s more of a ‘healthy glow’ thing than a full on tan looking bronzer.

That formula looks so smooth is almost looked like a creme! Sounds like a really interesting manufacturing process too.

looks amazing! can’t wait to see the swatch – I’m definitely going to get it for summer if the colour suits me! healthy glow ftw!
