A crowing rooster is the ancient Chinese symbol of a new day, and the Fire Rooster (the symbol for 2017) is a tribute to the energy and the light of each new day – what a great year to be born! I’m the year of the snake which doesn’t seem quite as glamorous (especially when I’ve just done a search on my traits: “..sensitive and humorous, and most of them are gifted in literature and art, such as Goethe and Picasso. Suspicion is their weakness, which makes them hesitant and a bit paranoid..” I can’t stand Picasso and never touched Goethe.. the rest, I’ll stay silent on!). Giorgio Armani Beauty brings out an annual palette – this is SO pretty with the rooster detailing and a warm, champagne toned highlighter.
On the lid are the Chinese characters for luck and fortune. The Giorgio Armani Chinese New Year Highlighting Palette is in very limited distribution in the UK (its main points of sale are in Asian countries) but John Lewis has limited stock HERE at £60. If you want it, don’t wait. Chinese New Year is on the 28th January.
